Description

This Saint-Tropez bareboat charter is shaped around one of Southern France’s most rewarding nature-focused cruising areas: the Hyères archipelago. Beginning from Port de Saint-Tropez ensures the charter starts with the professionalism and smooth operational support discerning sailors expect - premium marina facilities, efficient services, and a well-organized embarkation process that reduces friction. From this prestigious maritime hub, you gain a highly flexible launch point into a region known for favorable Mediterranean conditions, reliable infrastructure, and a coastline that blends protected marine zones with well-serviced ports. For experienced crews who want independence but still value clarity and seamless pre-departure coordination, this charter is designed to feel calm, elevated, and confidently managed.

About Our Service from Saint-Tropez to the Hyères Islands
This seven-day itinerary is ideal for crews who want tranquil anchorages, clear waters, and a route guided by conservation awareness. Because several stops are within protected areas where anchoring is restricted, the itinerary emphasizes timing, mooring etiquette, and responsible cruising - all while remaining deeply enjoyable. The structure keeps daily distances comfortable, leaving space for swimming, snorkeling, shoreline exploration, and the simple luxury of living aboard without rushing.

Day 1 begins with a late-morning departure from Saint-Tropez and a roughly three-hour cruise to Porquerolles. This first leg feels like a gentle transition from Riviera energy into island calm. Because anchoring restrictions apply, mooring buoys or marina berths are typically required, and arrival timing helps secure the best option. The afternoon is dedicated to exploring the island, enjoying calm waters, and settling into the relaxed rhythm that defines this itinerary.

Day 2 is a short one-hour cruise to Port-Cros National Park. Early arrival before midday is recommended due to regulated mooring availability and strict park rules. The reward is exceptional clarity for snorkeling and a protected environment that feels pristine and intentional. Hiking routes and shoreline viewpoints add variety to the day, while regulations help preserve the very beauty you are there to enjoy. This day is a highlight for sailors who appreciate nature-based cruising done responsibly.

Day 3 brings you toward Île de Bagaud, a restricted access area with limited anchoring options. The stop is planned for calm conditions, emphasizing scenery and swimming while minimizing environmental impact. This is the kind of day that feels exclusive - not because of luxury branding, but because of the silence, the protected atmosphere, and the sense of being close to nature in a way that most coastal cruising does not provide.

Day 4 transitions gently back toward the mainland with a one-and-a-half-hour cruise to the Giens Peninsula. Here, sheltered anchorages are selected based on prevailing winds to ensure comfort. The peninsula offers a relaxed coastal feel, with time for beach activities and a calm overnight that balances the itinerary’s protected-island days.

Day 5 brings a practical and well-timed stop in Toulon after a two-hour cruise. As a major port, Toulon offers comprehensive marina services - refueling, provisioning, water, and logistical convenience that keeps the charter running smoothly. This is also a valuable rest day in operational terms, ensuring the yacht is fully prepared for the final legs while giving guests the option of exploring ashore or simply enjoying the comfort of a well-supported berth.

Day 6 returns to quieter surroundings with a three-hour coastal cruise to Le Lavandou. This leg is ideal for a swim stop along the way if conditions permit, keeping the day enjoyable rather than purely transitional. The afternoon and evening are calm, making it a perfect final night to slow down, enjoy the cockpit at sunset, and reflect on a week shaped by protected waters and peaceful anchorages.

Day 7 concludes with a comfortable two-hour return to Port de Saint-Tropez, allowing a late-morning arrival. The timing keeps the end of the charter smooth and unhurried, providing ample time for marina approach, disembarkation, and end-of-charter procedures.

About Our Catamaran - Lagoon 42
The Lagoon 42 is a strong match for the Hyères Islands route because it supports both comfort at anchor and ease of coastal repositioning. The spacious cockpit and shaded exterior seating create an inviting social environment that suits long island afternoons, while the bright interior and panoramic windows maintain a calm atmosphere that feels connected to the surroundings. The cabin arrangement supports privacy across a full week, and the yacht’s overall design delivers steady, composed cruising - a key advantage when navigating protected zones where calm, controlled handling and responsible anchoring practices matter. This is a catamaran built for relaxed Mediterranean living without losing the confidence-inspiring steadiness sailors value.

This charter stands out in the region because it combines a prestigious, operationally reliable start in Saint-Tropez with an itinerary that many sailors actively seek but rarely execute smoothly: a nature-first route through protected island environments with clear planning and comfort. The service is popular because it removes the common bareboat pain points - unclear coordination, messy embarkation, or last-minute logistical stress - and replaces them with a streamlined process that supports your independence. You are not paying for hand-holding onboard; you are securing a professionally managed charter foundation that lets your crew enjoy real freedom, from day-to-day scheduling to onboard routines, while still benefiting from excellent support before departure. With limited availability maintained to ensure high preparation standards and avoid operational compromises, this is the kind of Hyères Islands week that feels genuinely premium in execution - and it is worth booking early if you want Saint-Tropez as your launch point at the dates you prefer.
