وصف

Journey from the Pacific coast of Chile to Bolivia’s remote river-accessible frontier during a distinctive 27-day private expedition through six South American countries. Beginning in Valparaiso, the itinerary travels south through Patagonia, crosses from the Pacific to the Atlantic, and continues through Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil. Its final stage follows the Paraguay River north through Paraguay to the Puerto Busch region of Bolivia, combining ocean cruising, cultural capitals, monumental natural attractions and remote inland waterways.

About Our 27-Day Pacific-to-Paraguay River Expedition

Valparaiso’s historic waterfront and established maritime infrastructure provide a compelling starting point for this complex itinerary. Professional embarkation arrangements and support from approximately 30 crew members create a polished beginning to the long-distance experience.

Bolivia is landlocked and cannot be reached by a conventional ocean-going coastal call. This proposed itinerary therefore uses the navigable Paraguay River system to approach Puerto Busch, Bolivia’s river-accessible location near the Pantanal. Vessel draft, bridge clearance, seasonal river depth and port infrastructure must be confirmed in advance. A suitable support or river vessel and overland transfers may be required for inland stages, including Foz do Iguaçu. All routing remains dependent on weather, navigation assessments, border formalities and local permissions.

Day 1 - Valparaiso, Chile: Complete embarkation and depart south along Chile’s Pacific coast, beginning the extended repositioning toward Patagonia.

Day 2 - At Sea, Chile: Make steady southward progress while guests enjoy the yacht’s extensive leisure facilities and attentive service.

Day 3 - Puerto Montt, Chile: Visit the waterfront, local markets or nearby Puerto Varas amid the scenery of the Lake District.

Day 4 - Chilean Patagonia: Cruise through remote southern waters framed by mountains, islands and fjords.

Day 5 - Punta Arenas, Chile: Explore this historic port on the Strait of Magellan and prepare for the transition toward Argentina.

Day 6 - Ushuaia, Argentina: Cross into Argentina and discover the southern city, Beagle Channel and surrounding Patagonian landscapes.

Day 7 - At Sea, Argentina: Turn north-east and cover the long distance toward northern Patagonia.

Day 8 - Puerto Madryn, Argentina: Explore the coastal environment and wildlife-rich Valdés Peninsula region, subject to season and access.

Day 9 - At Sea, Argentina: Continue north toward the Río de la Plata during a comfortable passage day.

Day 10 - Buenos Aires, Argentina: Experience historic neighbourhoods, grand avenues, cultural attractions and renowned dining.

Day 11 - Montevideo, Uruguay: Visit Ciudad Vieja, the waterfront and selected cultural landmarks in Uruguay’s capital.

Day 12 - At Sea, Uruguay to Brazil: Cross into Brazilian waters while enjoying personalised dining, wellness and panoramic ocean views.

Day 13 - Rio Grande, Brazil: Enter southern Brazil through an important maritime gateway and explore its coastal surroundings.

Day 14 - Porto Alegre Region, Brazil: Experience southern Brazilian culture before preparations begin for the inland portion of the route.

Day 15 - Santos, Brazil: Call at Brazil’s leading southeastern port, providing potential access to São Paulo and surrounding attractions.

Day 16 - Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil: Continue through a prearranged transfer or suitable inland connection to visit the spectacular Iguaçu Falls.

Day 17 - Foz do Iguaçu and Paraguay Border: Explore the tri-border region shared by Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina before commencing the river programme.

Day 18 - Asunción, Paraguay: Reach Paraguay’s riverside capital and discover its historic districts, markets and cultural attractions.

Day 19 - Asunción to Concepción: Cruise north along the Paraguay River past rural communities and forested banks toward Concepción.

Day 20 - Concepción, Paraguay: Spend additional time experiencing northern Paraguay’s riverfront culture before entering more isolated waterways.

Day 21 - Puerto Casado, Paraguay: Encounter the remote Chaco landscape and a quieter riverside environment during the journey north.

Day 22 - Bahía Negra, Paraguay: Visit one of Paraguay’s northernmost settlements and observe the increasingly wild frontier scenery.

Day 23 - Paraguay River toward Bolivia: Navigate through remote wetlands and forested river country near the Paraguay, Brazil and Bolivia frontier.

Day 24 - Puerto Busch, Bolivia: Reach Bolivia’s river-accessible gateway and undertake an organised excursion into the surrounding frontier environment.

Day 25 - Bolivian Pantanal: Explore wetlands, forests and wildlife habitats with an appropriately qualified local guide before returning to the vessel.

Day 26 - Puerto Busch, Bolivia: Enjoy a final day in the remote region, with activities adapted to water levels, access and local operating conditions.

Day 27 - Puerto Busch, Bolivia: Complete final arrangements and disembark after an ambitious journey from Chile’s Pacific coast to Bolivia’s inland river frontier.

About the 80m Four-Deck Luxury Yacht

The principal yacht offers expansive accommodation and refined social spaces across four decks. Venetian, Arabic and Greek influences enrich interiors finished with intricate waterjet-cut stonework, elegant materials and broad windows. A circular atrium and glass elevator connecting three decks form an impressive architectural centre, complemented by panoramic lounges and multiple dining environments.

Facilities include a private pool, sundeck jacuzzi, sunpads, beach club and swimming platform. A movie theatre, gym, sauna, steam room, massage room and beauty facilities support comfort during the itinerary’s longer passages. Where river dimensions prevent the principal yacht from proceeding inland, arrangements would transition to a technically appropriate vessel without misrepresenting the navigational limitations.

From Two Oceans to Bolivia’s Remote River Frontier

This expedition stands apart through the geographical ambition of its route and the variety of environments encountered along the way. Approximately 30 crew members provide discreet, personalised hospitality aboard the principal yacht, while specialist arrangements can be coordinated for the inland section. For travellers seeking an unconventional South American experience supported by thoughtful planning, privacy and exceptional comfort, the journey offers a genuinely memorable alternative to a standard coastal charter.
