وصف

A richly varied 18-day private expedition awaits guests seeking to combine Guatemala, Belize and Honduras aboard one of the world’s most substantial luxury sailing yachts. Beginning in Puerto San José, the programme introduces Guatemala’s Pacific coastline before incorporating a professionally planned transfer to the Caribbean. The second part of the experience progresses from Livingston through Placencia, Glover’s Reef, Tobacco Caye, Dangriga, Caye Caulker and Ambergris Caye, followed by an extended exploration of Honduras’s Bay Islands.

The itinerary recognizes the logistical reality that Guatemala has no practical yacht passage linking its Pacific and Caribbean coasts. A separate repositioning period is therefore built into the schedule and must be planned according to the vessel’s operational requirements. Guest transfers, yacht movement, embarkation points and timing will be finalized before confirmation, ensuring that the published experience remains both appealing and operationally responsible.

About Our 18-Day Caribbean Expedition from Guatemala

Twenty-seven professional crew members support this fully crewed charter, covering navigation, technical operations, accommodation, dining, housekeeping and personal service. Guests may discuss dietary requirements, onboard preferences, activity interests and scheduling needs during the reservation process. Reef access, anchoring, tender operations and international passages remain dependent on weather, local regulations and the captain’s approval.

Day 1 - Puerto San José, Guatemala: Begin with an introductory offshore passage from Puerto San José. Meet the crew, settle into the yacht and enjoy expansive deck areas as Guatemala’s Pacific landscapes establish the character of the opening day.

Day 2 - Monterrico, Guatemala: Cruise along the coast toward Monterrico, known for its dark-sand shoreline and surrounding wetlands. Time may be allocated for coastal exploration before the yacht continues preparations for the forthcoming logistical transition.

Day 3 - Guatemala Pacific Coast: Spend another day in practical reach of the departure region, using a suitable position for swimming, relaxation and tender activities. Behind the scenes, the team coordinates the arrangements required to move the programme to Guatemala’s Caribbean side.

Day 4 - Guatemala Transit and Yacht Repositioning: This operational day is reserved for the cross-country transition. As a direct sea passage is not available, the arrangements may involve separate transportation and professional repositioning logistics. Exact procedures are subject to confirmation before booking.

Day 5 - Livingston, Guatemala: Start the Caribbean section in Livingston, exploring the Río Dulce approaches, mangrove-lined scenery and the area’s distinctive Garifuna influence. Provisioning and formalities are completed before the yacht moves toward Belize.

Day 6 - Placencia, Belize: Follow the Caribbean coast northeast to Placencia. Once international entry requirements are completed, enjoy the peninsula’s beaches, relaxed atmosphere and surrounding waters without immediately pressing onward.

Day 7 - Southern Belize Coast: Cruise around nearby cayes and sheltered waters. Swimming, snorkeling and tender excursions may form part of the day while the yacht maintains a convenient position for the offshore reef stage.

Day 8 - Glover’s Reef, Belize: Navigate carefully toward one of Belize’s outstanding offshore reef systems. Coral formations and shallow waters demand conservative navigation, but the reward is a dedicated day within an extraordinary marine setting. Activities are selected according to visibility, access rules and sea conditions.

Day 9 - Glover’s Reef and Tobacco Caye Area: Continue exploring the southern reef region before working gradually north. Enjoy island scenery, clear waters and moderate daily movement, creating time for genuine discovery rather than treating the reef solely as a waypoint.

Day 10 - Dangriga, Belize: Approach Belize’s central coast near Dangriga. Experience the region’s Garifuna heritage, visit the shore or relax aboard while provisions are replenished and weather information is reviewed.

Day 11 - Belize City, Belize: Progress north through reef-fringed coastal waters toward Belize City. The stop supports port procedures and operational needs while giving guests an opportunity for local exploration or a restful afternoon aboard.

Day 12 - Caye Caulker, Belize: Exchange the urban stop for the laid-back atmosphere of Caye Caulker. Explore the island and its surrounding waters by tender, swim or snorkel where permitted, and enjoy a relaxed evening in the northern Belize cayes.

Day 13 - Ambergris Caye, Belize: Continue to Ambergris Caye and the San Pedro area. Beaches, reef scenery and nearby anchorages provide a fitting final Belizean chapter. The crew also assesses weather and clearance requirements for the offshore passage to Honduras.

Day 14 - Utila, Honduras: Cross from northern Belize toward the Bay Islands. This is treated as a dedicated international passage, with sufficient time allowed for navigation and border formalities. After arrival, settle around Utila and enjoy its relaxed coastal environment.

Day 15 - Roatán, Honduras: Cruise between the principal Bay Islands toward Roatán. Select an anchorage suited to prevailing conditions and spend the afternoon swimming, snorkeling or visiting one of the island’s coastal communities.

Day 16 - Cayos Cochinos, Honduras: Explore the small islands and reef environments of Cayos Cochinos. Careful navigation is essential around shallow areas, while protected anchorages can provide access to peaceful marine scenery and tender excursions.

Day 17 - Guanaja, Honduras: Continue toward the easternmost major Bay Island. Guanaja’s forested shores, quieter bays and less developed atmosphere offer a memorable final destination. The longer island passage is balanced by time for exploration after arrival.

Day 18 - Guanaja and Voyage Conclusion: Enjoy a final morning in Guanaja’s surrounding waters before completing the charter. Disembarkation or onward travel arrangements are coordinated locally, allowing the itinerary to conclude realistically rather than forcing an excessive return passage.
