13-Day Sanlorenzo 52Steel Luxury Yacht Charter from Hurghada through the Suez Canal to Cyprus, Greece, Italy and France

This 13-day luxury yacht charter from Hurghada, Egypt connects the Red Sea with the Mediterranean through one of the world’s most important maritime passages - the Suez Canal. Designed for guests who want a yacht experience with both technical prestige and classic Mediterranean appeal, the itinerary travels from Hurghada north along the Egyptian Red Sea coast, through the canal, then onward to Cyprus, Greece, Italy and the French Riviera. It is a rare route that combines canal transit, open-water crossings, island-hopping, coastal cruising, and high-profile Mediterranean arrival experiences aboard the Sanlorenzo 52Steel.

Hurghada offers a strong operational base for this westbound program, with marina support, fueling, provisioning, efficient guest boarding, and experienced port coordination. The journey begins in a Red Sea setting but quickly develops into a sophisticated multi-region yacht passage. Guests enjoy the contrast between Egyptian coastal waters, the controlled engineering of the Suez Canal, the open Eastern Mediterranean, the Greek island world, southern Italy, and the glamour of the Côte d’Azur.

About Our Service in Egypt, Cyprus, Greece, Italy and France

This fully crewed charter is managed by an 11-member professional team delivering guest care, route coordination, hospitality, safety management, and technical oversight throughout the voyage. Service is personalized to support relaxed luxury living while maintaining the precision required for canal passage, international formalities, long crossings, and marina arrivals. Guests can enjoy dining, deck leisure, watersports, spa time, cinema moments, and shore access where appropriate, while the crew handles the demanding logistics of the route.

Day 1: The yacht departs Hurghada and begins a northbound cruise along Egypt’s Red Sea coastline toward Safaga and Ain Sokhna. Reef awareness and coastal navigation are carefully maintained. Guests enjoy calm sea conditions, water sports, and an easy first day onboard while the crew completes systems checks, fuel planning, and Suez Canal preparation.

Day 2: The yacht continues toward the Suez Canal entry zone near Ain Sokhna. The crew coordinates with Egyptian maritime authorities for scheduled canal passage and prepares for controlled transit. Navigation briefings, security protocols, stabilizer checks, and technical inspections are completed to ensure the yacht is ready for canal operations.

Day 3: The yacht begins the Suez Canal transit from south to north under pilot supervision. Guests experience a highly distinctive inland passage connecting the Red Sea to the Mediterranean. Controlled speeds, machinery monitoring, communications checks, and compliance with canal timing requirements are handled by the crew throughout the day.

Day 4: After exiting near Port Said, the yacht enters the Mediterranean Sea and cruises westward along the Egyptian Mediterranean coastline. Guests enjoy open-deck relaxation and a noticeable shift in cruising atmosphere. The crew adjusts systems for Mediterranean conditions and prepares the route toward Cyprus.

Day 5: The yacht crosses Eastern Mediterranean waters toward Cyprus on a deep-water offshore route. Guests spend the day enjoying leisure activities, dining, sea views, and quiet luxury onboard. Evening arrival near Limassol includes customs coordination, stabilizer monitoring, and fuel system management for the continuation of the Mediterranean program.

Day 6: Cruising along Cyprus introduces Limassol and Ayia Napa regions, with opportunities for beach club experiences, tender excursions, swimming, and coastal sightseeing. The crew handles maintenance checks, provisioning, and route planning for the longer passage toward Greece.

Day 7: The yacht departs Cyprus and heads toward Greek waters, approaching Rhodes and the Dodecanese islands. A sheltered bay anchorage creates the ideal setting for swimming, relaxation, and island scenery. Guests enjoy sunset dining onboard while the crew recalibrates navigation systems and services the yacht for continued Aegean cruising.

Day 8: The itinerary moves northwest through the central Aegean toward Santorini and the Cyclades. Volcanic landscapes, deep blue water, and iconic island views shape the day. Guests enjoy onboard entertainment, panoramic cruising, and open-air leisure while the crew manages fuel efficiency and prepares for the route toward the Ionian Sea.

Day 9: The yacht enters Ionian waters and moves toward the Corfu region. Hidden coves, calmer sea conditions, and scenic island cruising create a more relaxed Mediterranean rhythm. Guests can enjoy watersports, tender exploration, and long deck hours while the crew performs inspections and stabilizer checks.

Day 10: The yacht departs Greece and heads toward southern Italy, passing through Ionian-to-Adriatic transition waters. Offshore navigation and calm passage conditions allow guests to use the yacht’s cinema, spa areas, and open decks. Engine diagnostics and system checks continue in preparation for Italian coastal cruising.

Day 11: The yacht cruises along southern Italy toward Sicily and the Naples region. Guests enjoy coastline views, onboard dining, and a more classic Mediterranean cruising atmosphere. The crew coordinates marina preparations and continues vessel optimization for extended Western Mediterranean operations.

Day 12: The journey continues west toward the French Riviera, crossing Western Mediterranean shipping lanes. Guests relax in luxury while the yacht approaches one of Europe’s most prestigious yachting regions. The crew prepares docking procedures, documentation, and port formalities for arrival along the Côte d’Azur.

Day 13: Arrival near Cannes or Monaco completes the extended Mediterranean passage. Guests enjoy the refined marina atmosphere, shore access, and the satisfaction of completing a major Red Sea-to-Riviera yacht route. The crew finalizes operational checks and prepares the yacht for standby charter or future repositioning.
