7-Night Luxury Gulet Charter from Bodrum through the South Dodecanese

This 7-night skippered gulet charter from Bodrum into the South Dodecanese is designed for guests who want a weekly yacht holiday with strong visual contrast, cultural depth, and a sense of real Mediterranean passage. Instead of focusing only on sheltered bays and swim stops, the route broadens the experience by introducing volcanic scenery, quiet nature-led islands, striking neoclassical harbors, and one of Greece’s most important historical cities before returning toward the Turkish coast. It is a route that feels expansive and varied without losing the easy comfort of a private, fully crewed charter.

Bodrum provides a polished embarkation point, but the week quickly evolves into something more adventurous as the yacht heads through Kos, Nisyros, Tilos, Symi, Rhodes, and then back via Datça or Knidos. Each stop changes the character of the journey. One day centers on a lively island atmosphere, another on volcanic terrain, another on coastal stillness, and another on medieval streets and harbor architecture. Throughout it all, the gulet remains your private base - spacious, air-conditioned, and served by an experienced crew who manage navigation, meals, and hospitality. For couples, families, and private groups who want beauty and substance in equal measure, this charter offers one of the more compelling weekly routes available from Bodrum.

About Our Service from Bodrum through the South Dodecanese

This is a fully organized weekly skippered charter built around comfort, flexibility, and smooth daily flow. Cruising times generally range from about two to four hours, which allows the itinerary to feel active and rewarding while leaving enough room for island exploration, long lunches, swimming, and relaxed evenings on board. The crew handles every operational detail so guests can stay focused on enjoying the route, and the itinerary can be gently adapted according to weather or preferred pace. Optional water sports such as water ski, wakeboard, kayak, paddleboard, and banana rides add another dimension to selected stops, while personal preferences, dietary needs, and shore interests can be incorporated to keep the holiday tailored rather than generic.

Day 1 - Embarkation in Bodrum

Boarding takes place in Bodrum at 17:30, where guests are welcomed on board and introduced to the yacht before the route begins. The opening evening is best enjoyed at an easy pace, whether that means relaxing in the salon, dining on deck, or taking a short walk through Bodrum’s marina area and historic surroundings. The overnight stay in harbor allows everyone to settle comfortably into the charter and begin the week in a calm, organized way.

Day 2 - Kos and the First Island Atmosphere

After breakfast, the gulet sails for approximately two to three hours to Kos. As a first Greek island stop, Kos offers a lively and approachable entry into the route, with historical remains, pleasant cycling opportunities, attractive beaches, and a harbor atmosphere that feels energetic without overwhelming the experience. Guests can divide the day between exploration ashore and time in the water, while the evening brings the pleasure of dining near the waterfront or relaxing on deck as the island settles into sunset.

Day 3 - Nisyros and the Power of the Volcano Landscape

A morning passage of around three hours reaches Nisyros, one of the most distinctive destinations on the itinerary. The island’s volcanic identity gives this day a very different character from the previous stop. A visit to the crater introduces dramatic landscapes and an unusual geological highlight that many guests do not expect to encounter during a yacht holiday. Traditional villages, bold natural scenery, and the sense of standing somewhere truly different make Nisyros one of the route’s defining experiences.

Day 4 - Tilos and a Slower, Nature-Led Day

The route then continues to Tilos after another two-to-three-hour sail. Tilos offers the kind of quiet island environment that makes a weekly charter feel restorative rather than overly scheduled. Clear water, peaceful shorelines, and the option for scenic walks or light exploration create a day centered on ease and breathing space. After the volcanic drama of Nisyros, Tilos feels softer and more meditative, bringing balance to the middle of the week.

Day 5 - Symi and One of the Region’s Most Photogenic Harbors

Following a two-to-three-hour cruise, the yacht reaches Symi, whose colorful neoclassical harbor is among the most visually striking in the eastern Mediterranean. This stop is often an immediate favorite thanks to the way architecture, waterfront life, and island character come together so vividly. Guests can stroll the picturesque streets, browse for local crafts, enjoy lunch at the water’s edge, and simply absorb the special atmosphere of a harbor that feels elegant, lively, and unmistakably Greek. Symi adds strong visual charm and a sophisticated social energy to the route.

Day 6 - Rhodes and a Grand Historical Contrast

A longer sail of around three to four hours takes the charter to Rhodes, where the scale and significance of the destination create a major highlight. The medieval Old Town, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, introduces walls, palaces, old streets, and a density of historical atmosphere unlike anywhere else on the itinerary. Guests may prefer guided sightseeing, free time in the markets, a beach visit, or a combination of all three. Rhodes brings a richer urban and historical layer into the week, proving that this charter is not limited to scenery alone.

Day 7 - Return via Datça or Knidos

The return toward Turkey involves a longer passage of approximately four to five hours, with Datça or Knidos providing the final meaningful stop before the charter concludes. Whether the yacht pauses in Datça’s charming harbor atmosphere or near the ancient setting of Knidos, the day offers one last chance for swimming, scenic relaxation, and a final memorable evening at anchor. After the Greek islands, this return to the Turkish coast creates a satisfying closure, reconnecting the route to the region where it began while still preserving the feeling of a broader international journey.

Day 8 - Disembarkation in Bodrum

After breakfast, the yacht arrives back in Bodrum for disembarkation at 08:30. By the time the cruise ends, guests have experienced a route that moves far beyond a standard blue cruise format. It has been a week of changing landscapes, layered culture, strong island identity, and the consistent comfort of traveling privately at sea.

About Our Yacht - 34m Wooden Gulet

The charter takes place on a 34-meter wooden gulet that is particularly well suited to extended cruising across Turkish and Greek waters. Built in 2004 and refitted in 2017, the yacht retains the timeless elegance of traditional wooden gulet design while offering the practical comfort expected from a modern weekly charter. With a 7.50-meter beam, it provides ample deck space for sunbathing, open-air dining, and social time, alongside a spacious salon that maintains a warm, classic interior atmosphere. The yacht’s multiple lounge areas make it easy for different guests to enjoy the day in their own way without ever feeling crowded.

Up to 10 guests are accommodated in 5 cabins, supported by a crew of 5 professionals who manage the guest experience discreetly and efficiently throughout the week. Air-conditioning is available 24 hours a day, helping maintain comfort during warmer summer periods, while the onboard selection of water sports equipment - including kayak, water ski, paddleboard, wakeboard, and banana - allows the charter to include both calm recreation and more energetic fun whenever suitable conditions arise. Altogether, the yacht offers the right mix of authenticity, comfort, and capability for a route that covers such a diverse range of destinations.

A More Memorable Mediterranean Week

This South Dodecanese charter is ideal for travelers who want their week on the water to feel genuinely varied and worthwhile. It combines islands that are visually distinct, culturally different, and emotionally memorable, all while preserving the core pleasures of a luxury gulet holiday - private service, beautiful anchorages, relaxed dining, and time to truly enjoy the sea. From the volcano landscapes of Nisyros and the serenity of Tilos to the elegant harbor of Symi and the historical depth of Rhodes, this itinerary offers a fuller Mediterranean story. For guests seeking a weekly charter from Bodrum that delivers both style and substance, this is a very strong choice.
