From Brittany to the Western Mediterranean on a Grand 17-Day Private Voyage

This 17-day charter is created for guests who want to experience Europe by sea in its most refined form, beginning in Brest and unfolding across Brittany, Normandy, northern Spain, Portugal and the Mediterranean coasts of Spain, Corsica and Italy. Departing from the highly regarded Brest Marina gives the journey a composed and prestigious beginning, with modern port infrastructure, secure berths and discreet, efficient coordination setting the standard from the first moment onboard. What follows is a route of remarkable breadth, linking fortified Atlantic harbors, elegant marinas, offshore crossings and iconic Mediterranean arrivals into a single luxury yachting experience.

The scale of the itinerary is matched by the quality of the service. This is a fully crewed private charter with a 40-member team dedicated to hospitality, smooth operations and personalized guest care. Every aspect of the journey is shaped around comfort and individual preference, from cabin arrangements and dining flow to the pace of each day and the atmosphere onboard. Some guests may wish to enjoy long, quiet breakfasts with sea views and leisurely afternoons in the pool deck and sun areas, while others may prefer more time ashore in historic ports and celebrated coastal towns. The charter is designed to accommodate both with ease.

About Our Service in France, Iberia, Corsica and the Italian Riviera

Day 1 - Brest to La Trinité-sur-Mer: The opening day brings guests from Brest down along Brittany’s Atlantic coast toward La Trinité-sur-Mer, a yachting center known for polished marina surroundings and a relaxed but sophisticated atmosphere. This first leg introduces the rhythm of the voyage in an elegant way, allowing time to settle into the yacht, enjoy the service of the crew and take in the scenery of rugged headlands, sheltered bays and classic Breton coastal views.

Day 2 - La Trinité-sur-Mer to Lorient: A shorter cruise to Lorient maintains the journey’s refined pace and reinforces the appeal of Brittany’s western waters. Lorient offers modern marina infrastructure and a secure stopover, making it both operationally smart and enjoyable for guests. The day feels unrushed, giving ample time to make use of the yacht’s leisure spaces, from alfresco dining areas to private lounges.

Day 3 - Lorient to Saint-Malo: The route then turns north along Brittany’s dramatic coastline toward the fortified harbor of Saint-Malo. This is one of the itinerary’s most atmospheric arrivals, with strong maritime heritage, sweeping ramparts and a sense of destination that feels both historical and upscale. By late afternoon, guests can choose between time ashore or a quieter evening onboard, surrounded by the superyacht’s signature glamour and comfort.

Day 4 - Saint-Malo, Dinard and Cancale: Short coastal positioning allows the yacht to highlight Dinard and Cancale in the same day, making the most of careful tidal planning and the proximity of these distinguished coastal locations. Dinard adds polished resort character, while Cancale offers regional charm and a more intimate waterfront feel. This day gives guests variety without long cruising hours, balancing shore interest with the privileges of returning to a private yacht for evening relaxation.

Day 5 - Saint-Malo to Granville: The voyage continues along the Channel coast to Granville, where Normandy begins to shape the character of the cruise. The passage is scenic and measured, and arrival comes with the appeal of a charming harbor town closely associated with island landscapes and French coastal tradition. A refined dinner onboard feels especially rewarding after a day of smooth navigation and shifting scenery.

Day 6 - Granville to Barneville-Carteret: Quieter coastal scenery defines this stage as the yacht moves along Normandy’s western shoreline. Barneville-Carteret provides a peaceful and picturesque stop with the option of nearby Portbail depending on conditions. This part of the itinerary feels more intimate and less urban, offering guests a calm interlude before returning to major port infrastructure.

Day 7 - Barneville-Carteret to Cherbourg: Cherbourg introduces scale, maritime depth and practical readiness for the offshore crossing ahead. Its extensive facilities, deep-water access and secure harbor position make it an ideal transition point. Yet it also works beautifully as a destination in its own right, with enough presence and nautical importance to suit a voyage of this stature.

Day 8 - Cherbourg to Santander: Crossing the Bay of Biscay toward Santander shifts the mood of the charter from coastal exploration to true offshore cruising. This is where the advantages of a large, well-equipped heritage superyacht become especially clear. Guests are free to enjoy the interiors, social decks and highly attentive service while the yacht advances steadily across open water. Santander offers a practical and elegant arrival, strategically positioned for the continuation south.

Day 9 - Santander to Porto: The route follows the Iberian coastline toward Porto, blending scenic ocean navigation with the changing cultural feel of Spain and Portugal. Porto introduces riverfront charm and a sophisticated atmosphere near the Douro, giving the charter another distinctive urban waterfront setting without losing its relaxed private character.

Day 10 - Porto to Gibraltar: A longer offshore leg leads south toward Gibraltar, one of the most significant navigational landmarks of the itinerary. This segment reflects the charter’s grand scale, carrying guests from northern Atlantic waters toward the gateway of the Mediterranean while maintaining an atmosphere of ease, comfort and polished service onboard.

Day 11 - Gibraltar to Cartagena: Entering the Mediterranean brings an immediate change in light, water color and coastal texture. Cartagena offers a manageable and elegant stop, combining shelter, cultural interest and a strong sense of arrival after the Atlantic phase of the journey. The transition into Mediterranean cruising feels natural and rewarding.

Day 12 - Cartagena to Barcelona: Barcelona adds cosmopolitan energy and marina sophistication to the itinerary. This leg is practical and enjoyable, allowing guests to move from the quieter southern coast into one of the Mediterranean’s most recognized urban yacht destinations. Time onboard remains central, with beautifully served meals and extensive leisure space ensuring the cruise never feels rushed.

Day 13 - Barcelona to Calvi: The crossing to Corsica introduces open Mediterranean cruising at its most appealing. Calvi’s fortified harbor and striking natural setting create one of the voyage’s most photogenic stops, ideal for a sunset arrival and a relaxed evening framed by mountains, old stone architecture and calm water.

Day 14 - Calvi to Portofino: Cruising onward to Portofino elevates the route into classic Italian Riviera territory. This scenic leg combines coastal beauty and understated glamour, ending in one of Europe’s most elegant harbor settings. Portofino is perfectly suited to the mood of this charter - exclusive, beautiful and quietly prestigious.

Day 15 - Portofino Coastal Leisure: A flexible leisure day gives guests time to enjoy the Italian Riviera at a slower pace. Short local cruising, time ashore or simple onboard relaxation all work beautifully here, especially after the longer Atlantic and Mediterranean passages that shaped the earlier days of the trip.

Day 16 - Portofino to Western Mediterranean Positioning: This stage allows the yacht to continue westward with an intentionally relaxed schedule, maintaining the charter’s sense of continuity while giving guests another day to enjoy the onboard experience in full. Fine dining, panoramic lounging decks and quiet service become the focus once again.

Day 17 - Western Mediterranean Completion: The final morning is deliberately unhurried, offering a graceful close to a remarkable voyage that has linked Atlantic France, Iberia, Corsica and Italy in one fluid private charter. It is the kind of route that feels expansive, cultured and deeply memorable from start to finish.
