Our sailing yacht has high-performance sails, twin helms, a Raymarine charter plotter, a 45 HP Yanmar diesel engine, a propane stove and oven, refrigerator, air conditioning, Autopilot, three cabins, and two restrooms.
It embodies the ideal combination of ingredients that has contributed to the Sun Odyssey line's success. Phillipe Briand, the internationally renowned designer of highly competitive racing boats and luxury sailboats, created the performance-oriented hull. Special consideration was given to sail handling ease, ergonomics, and modern aesthetics.
The sailing yacht has more power, a larger cockpit, and more amenities. It was designed specifically for Nancy Anne Sailing Charters and includes many new features to make sailing easier and more comfortable. These features include twin helms, which are ideal for the informal sailing lessons we provide; a large comfortable cockpit with a table for snacks and liquid refreshments; and a Raymarine chart plotter/radar display at the back of the table, which shows our speed, position, and the positions of other boats in our immediate vicinity.
There is a hot/cold water shower on the stern swim platform, an autopilot that will keep the boat on course if the helmsman is called away for other duties, a stereo system with an iPod/iPhone dock, three cabins, two full size bathrooms, and an air-conditioned salon with a flat screen TV and a full galley while in port.
