14-Day Luxury Yacht Charter from Saint-Malo to Porto via France, Spain and Portugal

For guests seeking a major Atlantic yachting experience rather than a short regional cruise, this 14-day charter from Port of Saint-Malo Marina to Porto delivers an extraordinary route across three countries with every detail supported by full superyacht service. Saint-Malo offers a polished and historically resonant place to begin, where premium marina infrastructure, strong harbor assistance and a sophisticated embarkation setting create a memorable first impression. From there, the journey unfolds along France’s western seaboard, across the Bay of Biscay and down the Iberian Atlantic coast toward Portugal, combining cultural depth with striking ocean scenery.

The experience is fully crewed and supported by 31 dedicated professionals whose attention to detail allows the voyage to feel seamless from beginning to end. Guests can tailor the pace and atmosphere of the charter to suit their preferences, whether that means long relaxed meals, destination-led days ashore, wellness time onboard or private entertaining in spectacular surroundings. The setting for all of this is a 303-foot luxury motor yacht whose scale, design and amenities elevate the voyage far beyond traditional cruising. With expansive decks, elegant lounges, refined dining spaces, a pool, beach club, jacuzzi, cinema, spa, gym, elevator and helipad, the yacht functions as a floating private residence of exceptional quality.

Atlantic Expedition from Northern France to Portugal

Day 1 - Saint-Malo, France: Guests board in Saint-Malo and begin the voyage with time to appreciate the city’s famous granite ramparts, old-town streets and maritime energy. The first evening onboard introduces the vessel’s luxurious setting and the crew’s service style, establishing a smooth and confident start to the expedition.

Day 2 - Dinard, France: Dinard offers a graceful early stop, known for its seaside elegance, handsome villas and scenic promenade. Guests can enjoy a slow-paced morning and a stylish coastal interlude before continuing south with the comfort of spacious deck lounges and attentive onboard care.

Day 3 - Cancale, France: The yacht reaches Cancale, where Brittany’s oyster culture and beautiful bay views create a distinct local character. Seafood tasting opportunities and relaxed harbor scenery give the day a strong regional identity before the yacht resumes its southward course.

Day 4 - Granville, France: Granville combines fishing-port heritage with attractive upper-town architecture and coastal views toward the Chausey Islands. The stop provides a pleasing mix of authenticity and charm, especially for guests who enjoy destinations with strong maritime roots.

Day 5 - Cherbourg, France: In Cherbourg, guests encounter one of the route’s major maritime centers. The city’s harbor, museums and naval heritage add substance to the itinerary, while the yacht’s private atmosphere ensures that even busy ports are experienced in complete comfort.

Day 6 - Brest, France: Brest marks the transition toward Brittany’s grand Atlantic dimension. Broad harbor panoramas, dockyard history and strong marina facilities make this a significant waypoint, and the views from the yacht’s exterior living areas are particularly impressive here.

Day 7 - Lorient, France: Lorient contributes a more contemporary marine identity, shaped by racing culture and a vibrant sailing scene. Guests may explore local markets and the waterfront before returning to the vessel for another carefully curated evening of dining and relaxation.

Day 8 - La Rochelle, France: Historic La Rochelle introduces medieval harbor towers, elegant streets and one of the country’s most attractive Atlantic urban waterfronts. It is a stop that balances history and sophistication while preserving the easy flow of a luxury charter itinerary.

Day 9 - Arcachon, France: Arcachon brings lighter coastal charm, with beach culture, oyster traditions and the nearby Dune du Pilat adding natural drama. It is an ideal staging point before the yacht makes its international passage southward.

Day 10 - Bilbao, Spain: Bilbao offers a rich Basque contrast to the French section of the voyage. Guests can explore major museums, outstanding restaurants and the city’s cultural vitality before enjoying a calm evening back aboard in the comfort of the marina.

Day 11 - Santander, Spain: Santander pairs handsome waterfront elegance with beaches, promenades and a protected harbor setting. The atmosphere is polished yet relaxed, making it a rewarding midpoint in the Spanish section of the route.

Day 12 - Gijón, Spain: In Gijón, harbor life, coastal parks and regional character create a lively but approachable destination. Guests can enjoy another distinct slice of northern Spain before the voyage continues west.

Day 13 - A Coruña, Spain: A Coruña brings Galician identity, Atlantic drama and iconic landmarks such as the Tower of Hercules. The stop adds both scenic and cultural weight to the itinerary and offers a memorable final Spanish chapter before Portugal.

Day 14 - Porto, Portugal: Arrival in Porto completes the charter in unforgettable style. Guests can discover riverside districts, historic architecture and the city’s famed wine culture before disembarking after a rare cross-border yacht journey that has linked France, Spain and Portugal in a single elegantly managed voyage.
