Description

Built by Christensen and delivered in 2005, this 47.85-metre custom motor yacht offers substantial 499 GT volume, traditional American superyacht craftsmanship and long-range capability across four decks. A major refit completed in 2022 introduced important interior and galley upgrades while reinforcing her appeal as a spacious private cruising and entertainment platform.

Design, Dimensions and Construction

Christensen created the naval architecture and exterior design, while Carol Williamson & Associates developed the interior. The yacht measures 47.85 metres overall and 42.64 metres at the waterline, with an 8.84-metre beam and 2.44-metre draft. Displacement is stated at approximately 372 tonnes.

Her full-displacement hull is constructed in fibreglass, with a GRP superstructure, teak decks and a white exterior finish. The four-level profile incorporates long glazing bands, a raised pilothouse, broad overhangs and wraparound exterior walkways.

Guest and Crew Accommodation

Up to 10 guests are accommodated across five cabins: one full-beam main-deck owner's suite, one VIP cabin and three double cabins, with additional Pullman and convertible arrangements identified in the supplied layout. Up to nine crew can be accommodated in four crew cabins. A separate crew passageway supports discreet professional service.

The owner's suite includes a king-size bed, extensive his-and-hers wardrobes, private office, hidden television and marble ensuite with separate bathing facilities. Guest cabins provide ensuite bathrooms and useful storage.

Interior and Galley

The main saloon combines formal dining and generous lounge seating. Walnut joinery, marble, stone surfaces, curved architectural details and custom cabinetry create a traditional American superyacht atmosphere. A central marble-floored foyer incorporates a spiral staircase and an elevator serving all four decks.

The skylounge provides a relaxed elevated entertainment area with a bar and broad views. The 2022 refit introduced Rational iCombi ovens, Gaggenau stovetops, upgraded extraction and enhanced professional galley facilities.

Exterior Recreation and Wellness

The sundeck includes a forward Jacuzzi, sunpads, lounge seating, shaded bar and dining areas. Further amenities include foredeck seating, swimming platform, BBQ, gym and massage room. A touch-and-go helicopter landing area provides additional operational flexibility, subject to certification and regulations.

The yacht carries a 4.5-metre Nautica RIB, handled by a concealed crane. Listed recreational equipment includes paddleboards, inflatables, towables, SeaBobs and an e-foil; the exact sale inventory must be confirmed.

Connectivity and entertainment include Starlink, Wi-Fi, Satcom, satellite television, video on demand and games consoles. Air conditioning supports year-round comfort.

Engines, Range and Manoeuvring

Twin MTU 12V 4000 diesel engines each produce 1,800 hp at 1,800 rpm, giving a combined 3,600 hp through twin screw propellers. Maximum speed is approximately 17 knots, cruising speed 12 knots and economic speed 9 knots. The reported range is 4,000 nautical miles at 9.5 knots.

Fuel capacity is 56,781 litres and freshwater capacity is 7,453 litres. A 99 hp American Bow Thruster assists manoeuvring, while at-anchor stabilisers improve comfort in exposed anchorages.

Survey and Acquisition

The Cayman Islands flag, class status, VAT and customs position, title, ownership history and statutory certificates should be independently verified. Buyers should obtain the complete 2022 refit file, servicing history, engine and generator hours, antifouling records and warranty documents.

An independent survey, underwater inspection, machinery assessment and sea trial should precede completion. The purchase agreement must identify the RIB, toys, equipment, spares and other inclusions, together with deposit, escrow, delivery and handover terms.
