About Our Service in Lefkada, Meganisi, Kalamos, Kastos, Ithaca, Kefalonia & Sivota Bay

Day 1 begins as you depart from Lefkada and set your course for Meganisi, a tranquil and picturesque island located just 7 nautical miles away. The short sail allows plenty of time to explore Vathi, a charming harbor town surrounded by lush hills. Spend your afternoon relaxing at Limonari Beach, where turquoise waters and fine pebbles offer an idyllic welcome to your Ionian voyage. As evening approaches, stroll through the narrow streets of Vathi and enjoy traditional Lefkadian cuisine in a cozy taverna along the waterfront.

Day 2 takes you further southeast to Kalamos, a mountainous island known for its untouched natural beauty. After approximately 15 nautical miles of gentle sailing, you’ll arrive at Port Kalamos. From here, hikers can take to the trails that ascend to the island’s summit, offering panoramic views of the surrounding sea. For those who prefer the water, Agrapidia Beach and Kefi Bay provide peaceful spots to swim and sunbathe, far from the buzz of more popular tourist destinations.

Day 3 brings you to Kastos, a hidden gem in the Ionian archipelago. With only around 100 inhabitants, this small island offers a serene escape. The sail is a short 8 nautical miles, making it ideal for a slow morning cruise. Once docked, visit Sarakiniko Beach—its clear waters are perfect for snorkeling. As the sun begins to set, enjoy a meal at the iconic Mylos restaurant, set in a restored windmill that overlooks the sea. The combination of local seafood and stunning views makes for an unforgettable evening.

Day 4 leads you to Ithaca, the legendary homeland of Odysseus. After a 20 nautical mile sail, dock at the island’s capital, Vathy. This large natural harbor is surrounded by charming hillside homes and olive groves. Spend your afternoon exploring the Archaeological Museum and the Cave of the Nymphs, both steeped in Homeric legend. Filiatro Beach, with its calm, translucent waters and pebbled shore, is the perfect place to unwind before returning to town for dinner under the stars.

Day 5 is a 15 nautical mile sail to Fiskardo, a well-preserved village on the northern tip of Kefalonia. Fiskardo is famous for its colorful Venetian-style architecture and laid-back charm. Explore the historic Fiskardo Lighthouse or browse the elegant boutiques and cafés lining the harbor. Emblisi Beach nearby features fascinating underwater caves, making it a great snorkeling stop for marine enthusiasts. The picturesque streets and tranquil atmosphere of Fiskardo make it a highlight of the journey.

Day 6 brings you back toward Lefkada with a stop at Sivota Bay, approximately 18 nautical miles away. Nestled among verdant hills, Sivota Bay offers a peaceful anchorage with stunning scenery. Paddleboarding and kayaking are excellent ways to explore the hidden coves around the bay. As the day closes, dine at a waterfront restaurant serving freshly caught seafood while the sun sets behind the hills, painting the sky in warm hues.

Day 7 marks the final leg of your journey with a 10 nautical mile sail back to Lefkada Marina. Spend your last hours exploring Lefkada Town. Stroll through the old quarters, visit the local artisan shops, and enjoy a farewell coffee or meal in the lively squares that echo the region’s rich cultural heritage.
