Private Skippered 14-Day Sailing Charter – Aeolian Islands, Taormina Coast & Milazzo Loop from Capo d’Orlando

Launching from the premium Capo d’Orlando Marina, this two-week Mediterranean voyage arcs through the Aeolian chain before reaching Sicily’s glamorous east at Giardini Naxos beneath Taormina and the distant slopes of Etna. It’s a journey that fuses volcanic drama and island chic with a taste of Sicily’s most iconic coastal panorama.

About Our Service in Sicily & the Aeolian Islands

The route is designed for travelers who enjoy variety—short inter-island sails, an open-water push to Giardini Naxos, and a scenic coastal return via Milazzo. With a dedicated skipper steering the plan and ensuring safety, you keep the fun parts: swimming, snorkeling, shore dinners and lazy afternoons at anchor.

Day 1 – Arrive Capo d’Orlando (from 17:00): Step aboard, complete check-in and enjoy the marina’s refined vibe before a restful first night.

Day 2 – Capo d’Orlando to Vulcano (≈19 NM): Ease into the Aeolians with black-sand beaches, warm springs and an optional crater hike overlooking the archipelago.

Day 3 – Vulcano to Alicudi (≈29 NM): Sail west to remote Alicudi, where stone paths and quiet terraces frame big-sea horizons.

Day 4 – Alicudi to Filicudi, continue to Salina (≈13 NM + 15 NM): Explore Filicudi—sea caves, Capo Graziano—then carry on to green, inviting Salina for an easy evening moored in Santa Marina or Rinella.

Day 5 – Salina Lay Day: Wine tasting, sunset at Pollara or a village-to-village tour. A gentle pause mid-journey.

Day 6 – Salina to Stromboli (≈24 NM): Sail to the archipelago’s fiery sentinel. Time dusk for the Sciara del Fuoco from the boat or a guided trek.

Day 7 – Stromboli to Panarea (≈13 NM): Cruise to chic Panarea; anchor at Cala Junco or Lisca Bianca and soak up stylish island life.

Day 8 – Panarea Exploration: A relaxed day for snorkeling runs, prehistoric ruins and leisurely lunches in photogenic bays.

Day 9 – Panarea to Lipari (≈12 NM): Short passage to bustling Lipari for castle ramparts, ceramic shops and seafood suppers along the promenade.

Day 10 – Lipari Island Day: Circle to beaches like Spiaggia Bianca, or tour to panoramic viewpoints before a calm evening onboard.

Day 11 – Lipari to Giardini Naxos (≈68 NM): A purposeful sail to Sicily’s east coast. Anchor under Taormina’s cliffs with Etna on the horizon—one of the Mediterranean’s great vistas.

Day 12 – Taormina Visit: Ascend to the hill town for the Greek Theatre, Corso Umberto and a languid lunch with iconic views.

Day 13 – Giardini Naxos to Milazzo (≈54 NM): Track the coast back to historic Milazzo for its medieval citadel and excellent marina services.

Day 14 – Milazzo to Capo d’Orlando (≈28 NM): A final scenic sail returns you to base by 18:00 for check-out and a farewell dinner.

Day 15 – Disembarkation in Capo d’Orlando (09:00): Goodbyes after breakfast conclude a richly varied Sicilian circuit.
