Description

For guests who want the Cyclades in full color - iconic whitewashed scenery, energetic island nights, historic landmarks, and a week that feels like a true island-hopping adventure - this Sunseeker 75 charter delivers a thrilling yet comfortable route from Athens Marina into the heart of the Aegean. The Cyclades are famous for their visual drama and variety: from sophisticated ports and architectural elegance to beach culture and ancient heritage. With a professional skipper and crew managing navigation, safety, and daily operations, you get the best of this region without the stress of planning logistics or managing a yacht yourself.

This is a weekly, skippered and crewed charter designed to feel premium from start to finish: a structured check-in, a clear briefing and routing discussion, daily optimization based on weather, and constant support. The Sunseeker’s speed and efficiency are particularly valuable here, allowing you to reach major destinations comfortably and protect time for exploration. It’s an itinerary made for guests who like to do more in a week - while still enjoying the luxury of a crewed yacht lifestyle.

About Our Service in Athens and the Cyclades
Your week begins on Saturday afternoon at Athens Marina, with embarkation and a detailed welcome briefing. Your skipper will review the route, discuss sea conditions, and ensure the plan aligns with your preferences - whether your priority is beach time, lively evenings, cultural visits, or a mix of all three. Departure is at 17:00, timed so guests can settle into the yacht and start the holiday feeling immediately relaxed.

Day 1 – Saturday | Athens Marina → Kythnos
The first leg heads to Kythnos, typically around three hours. The goal is a smooth first evening at a sheltered bay or calm anchorage, creating a peaceful introduction to Cycladic waters. Guests often enjoy dinner onboard with the Aegean as a backdrop, settling into the yacht’s rhythm under the stars.

Day 2 – Sunday | Kythnos → Syros
Sunday’s cruise to Syros (around four hours) introduces a different side of the Cyclades - elegant architecture and a more “city-like” cultural energy. Syros is known for refined streetscapes, excellent dining, and a distinctive identity compared to its neighbors. Guests may spend the afternoon strolling historic districts, enjoying a relaxed café stop, and finishing with a dinner that highlights the island’s culinary reputation.

Day 3 – Monday | Syros → Mykonos
Monday brings the high-energy highlight of the week: Mykonos. The cruise is around four hours, and the skipper can time arrival to maximize the day’s potential. Mykonos offers famous beach clubs, stylish shopping, and nightlife that attracts travelers from around the world. Guests can enjoy the day as they choose - from a beach-focused afternoon to an evening wandering the iconic lanes and waterfront. Overnight in or near Mykonos allows you to experience the island beyond a day-trip pace.

Day 4 – Tuesday | Mykonos → Delos → Paros
Tuesday is a signature blend of culture and cruising. The day begins with a visit to Delos, one of Greece’s most important archaeological sites, adding depth and meaning to the week’s glamour. From there, the yacht continues to Paros (approximately three hours), with the evening ideally spent in Naoussa, known for its harbor charm and excellent dining scene. This is the kind of day that feels “complete”: historic wonder, Aegean scenery, and a vibrant island night.

Day 5 – Wednesday | Paros → Antiparos
Wednesday is intentionally calmer. A short, one-hour cruise brings you to Antiparos, a relaxed island with clear water and a slower rhythm. Guests often use this day for pure leisure: swimming in luminous bays, enjoying a long lunch onboard, and exploring local highlights such as caves or quiet beaches. The shorter passage creates space for an unhurried, luxurious day at sea.

Day 6 – Thursday | Antiparos → Serifos
Thursday’s four-hour cruise to Serifos introduces a quieter Cycladic character, with striking landscapes and a hilltop Chora that feels timeless. Guests can explore traditional lanes, enjoy panoramic viewpoints, and experience a more tranquil island atmosphere. Serifos is ideal for travelers who want to feel the Cyclades beyond the headline destinations.

Day 7 – Friday | Serifos → Athens Marina
Friday features an early departure for a longer return cruise (approximately 6-7 hours). The crew keeps the day comfortable and enjoyable, planning breaks and ensuring onboard hospitality remains high. Many guests treat this as a “sea day,” enjoying deck life, conversation, and a final set of memories made onboard rather than ashore.

Day 8 – Saturday | Disembarkation
Disembarkation follows at 09:00 after breakfast.

About Our Yacht – Sunseeker 75
The Sunseeker 75 is an excellent platform for a Cyclades itinerary because she combines luxury with the performance needed for efficient island transitions. Built in 2007 and extensively refitted in 2024, she offers a contemporary onboard feel with carefully arranged guest spaces. Accommodation for 8 guests across 4 en-suite cabins supports comfort over a full week, while the Master and VIP suites’ walk-in wardrobes add real practicality for longer stays. Her twin 1,550 HP engines and cruising speed around 23 knots allow your skipper to route intelligently and keep days feeling balanced rather than stretched.

Outdoor enjoyment is central to the Sunseeker experience. Multiple alfresco spaces allow guests to move naturally throughout the day - sun and shade as preferred, meals with sea views, and evenings enhanced by the yacht’s underwater lights. The submersible bathing platform turns swim stops into effortless “step into the sea” moments, particularly valuable in the Cyclades where water clarity can be spectacular and the temptation to swim is constant.

Closing Message
Many Cyclades charters feel either too rushed or too generic, touching only the obvious stops without delivering a truly premium flow. What sets this experience apart is the combination of an intelligent route, a high-performing luxury yacht, and a professional crew that makes the week feel seamless. You gain the freedom to enjoy headline islands like Mykonos and Paros, meaningful cultural depth at Delos, and quieter gems like Serifos and Antiparos - all while returning each day to a comfortable, private environment that belongs only to your group. If you want a Cyclades week that feels both exciting and elevated - with expert support, smooth operations, and the kind of onboard comfort that transforms travel into a true holiday - this Sunseeker 75 charter from Athens is the option that consistently stands above standard packages.
