Description

For guests who want the Gulf to feel expansive, private, and quietly spectacular, this Northern itinerary delivers a different kind of luxury - fewer crowds, more space, and a stronger sense of discovery. AK ROYALTY departs from Amwaj Marina in Bahrain, where modern facilities and smooth access set a refined tone before you head north into Kuwaiti waters and the remote character of the upper Arabian Gulf. This is a crewed charter built around discretion and comfort, where long passages are transformed into true leisure days and every arrival feels like a private event staged just for your group.

About Our Service in Bahrain, Kuwait & the Northern Gulf
With a fully professional crew onboard, this cruise is designed to feel effortless even when covering longer distances. Before departure, you can tailor preferences across dining, wellness, and activity intensity so the team can deliver a consistent rhythm: calm mornings, polished service, and evenings that feel intimate and elevated rather than busy. The route brings you to Al Khiran Marina, Kuwait City’s waterfront scene, the heritage atmosphere of Failaka Island, the protected and remote surroundings of Bubiyan, and an offshore anchorage day where the yacht becomes a floating private resort. The journey then transitions south to Al Ruwais in Qatar before returning to Bahrain, creating a true “Northern Gulf circle” experience.

Day 1 - Amwaj Marina, Bahrain to Al Khiran Marina, Kuwait
You embark in the morning at Amwaj Marina with welcome drinks, a thorough safety briefing, and cabin allocation handled smoothly so you can settle in quickly. This first day is a longer passage north-northwest, approximately 140 nautical miles and typically 10-12 hours, but the yacht’s comfort transforms the distance into a genuine part of the holiday. Lunch is served underway, and guests often use the day to enjoy sun deck relaxation, wellness moments, and lounge activities supported by attentive hospitality. The crew maintains a calm pace and keeps refreshments flowing so the journey feels unforced. Arrival at Al Khiran Marina is planned for early evening, with customs clearance coordinated efficiently. A relaxed onboard dinner follows, and the overnight berth ensures deep rest after the day’s passage.

Day 2 - Al Khiran to Kuwait City Waterfront
A late morning departure keeps the day comfortable and avoids a rushed start. The cruise along Kuwait’s shoreline is short, approximately 25-30 nautical miles and 2-3 hours, allowing ample time to enjoy Kuwait City properly. The yacht berths near the marina district, creating easy access for a curated city day. Guests often choose to visit Kuwait Towers for iconic views, explore waterfront promenades, and arrange museum or luxury shopping plans depending on interests. Returning to the yacht in the afternoon, the experience shifts back into leisure mode with swimming and sunbathing. Evening dining can be styled either onboard with refined service or ashore at a high-end restaurant, followed by a peaceful overnight at berth.

Day 3 - Kuwait City to Failaka Island
A gentle morning cruise of approximately 15-20 nautical miles, usually 1.5-2 hours, brings you to Failaka Island, known for archaeological significance and calmer beaches. Anchoring off Failaka creates a relaxed, private atmosphere where guests can move between tender excursions and beach time without crowds. The day can include a beach picnic set up with comfort in mind, guided heritage walks for those who enjoy history, and a full water sports program in the calm, shallow-friendly waters that suit paddleboarding and kayaking. Sunset cocktails on the upper deck become a natural highlight here, followed by an elegant dinner under the stars with the island as a quiet backdrop.

Day 4 - Failaka Island to Bubiyan Island (Protected Waters)
The yacht proceeds north for approximately 25-30 nautical miles, typically 3-4 hours, navigating carefully due to shallow areas and local regulations. Bubiyan is one of the most remote-feeling Gulf environments, and the luxury here is not nightlife or crowds - it is silence, space, and exclusivity. The day is designed around nature observation, photography, and quiet cruising. Because of environmental restrictions, no beach landings are planned, but the yacht becomes a sanctuary where wellness activities, spa-style relaxation, and calm service define the experience. Guests often describe this day as a reset - a rare chance to be surrounded by open water and protected landscapes while enjoying high-end comfort.

Day 5 - Bubiyan to Northern Offshore Anchorage
Today the yacht repositions southward to deeper waters over approximately 40-45 nautical miles, typically 4-5 hours. The destination is not a city - it is privacy. This is a full leisure day at sea where the crew creates a slow-living experience: relaxed cruising, optional fishing moments, sun deck lounging, and gourmet dining that can be paced as a long, indulgent sequence rather than a quick meal. It is also ideal for wellness programming, including yoga sessions and calm onboard routines that make the yacht feel like a floating retreat. The evening is quiet, social if you want it to be, and deeply comfortable.

Day 6 - Offshore Anchorage to Al Ruwais, Qatar
An early departure begins an international crossing southbound, approximately 135-145 nautical miles and typically 10-11 hours. The crew maintains a premium, calm atmosphere throughout the passage, with lounge service and comfort-focused pacing. Customs clearance on arrival in Al Ruwais is coordinated efficiently, and the evening onboard is designed to be relaxed - light entertainment, refined dining, and a restorative overnight berth to prepare for the final return leg.

Day 7 - Al Ruwais to Amwaj Marina, Bahrain
The final cruising leg returns to Bahrain over approximately 90-95 nautical miles, typically 6-7 hours. Breakfast is served underway, and the crew keeps the atmosphere calm and celebratory as you close the week. Arrival at Amwaj Marina is planned for mid to late afternoon with a farewell service sequence and smooth disembarkation support.

About Our Luxury Yacht - AK ROYALTY
AK ROYALTY is a statement yacht with real depth behind the aesthetics. The gold hull infused with genuine 24-carat gold dust gives the yacht an unmistakable presence, but the real luxury reveals itself in how comfortably you can live onboard. Expansive sun decks provide multiple zones for social energy, quiet privacy, and everything in between. A six-person jacuzzi anchors the outdoor lifestyle, while generous lounging areas support long afternoons of relaxation. Inside, the contemporary interior features high-end finishes including bespoke Fendi carpets, creating a refined atmosphere across salons and dining spaces. Advanced stabilisation improves comfort substantially at anchor, which is especially valuable on an itinerary featuring remote offshore leisure days. Add in a strong collection of tenders, water toys, wellness equipment, and entertainment systems, and the yacht becomes equally suited to adventure, restoration, and sophisticated social time.

This Northern Gulf itinerary is for guests who want something rarer: a luxury cruise that feels spacious and exclusive by nature, not by marketing. You get Kuwait’s waterfront sophistication, Failaka’s heritage calm, Bubiyan’s protected remoteness, and open-sea leisure that resets the mind, all delivered with refined service and a yacht designed to impress. If you want a week that feels genuinely private, beautifully coordinated, and different from the usual “icon cities” circuit, secure your dates early and let AK ROYALTY deliver the Northern Gulf at its most elegant.
