Hurghada – Smart springboard to the north’s highlights
Hurghada Marina’s smooth processes and lively waterfront make an ideal start for a circuit that blends famous wrecks, signature reefs and Dahab’s legendary formations.
About our service in Hurghada and the Northern Arc
This crewed charter keeps logistics light and the experience rich. Briefings are crisp, gear handling is organized and mealtimes dovetail neatly with dive windows. Expect timely starts, tidy camera care and friendly help from a crew that anticipates needs.
Day 1 – Arrival and overnight in port
Arrive from 16:00, meet the team, check gear and enjoy a relaxed dinner as the yacht remains docked for a restful night.
Day 2 – Shaab El Erg and Abu Nuhas
A dolphin-favored horseshoe reef hosts the check dive. By afternoon, Abu Nuhas delivers Chrisoula K or Giannis D, draped in coral and alive with reef fish. Conditions permitting, a night dive introduces the nocturnal cast. Anchor near Abu Nuhas.
Day 3 – SS Thistlegorm and Ras Mohamed
Two dives on the Thistlegorm map exterior structure and hold interiors crammed with wartime cargo. After lunch, drift dramatic Ras Mohamed walls such as Shark and Yolanda, then settle near Small Crack for a possible night dive.
Day 4 – Tiran trio
Gordon’s gardens and shallow wreck, Thomas’s canyon and soft corals, Jackson’s brisk edges and seasonal hammerhead chances create a thrilling progression. Evenings are for warm breezes and sky-full stars.
Day 5 – Dahab’s Blue Hole and Canyon
Morning light spills into the Blue Hole’s vertical amphitheater. The Canyon follows with a theatrical descent through lit crevices. The atmosphere shifts to relaxed snorkeling or shoreline pauses before an optional sunset or night splash.
Day 6 – Ras Abu Galum and Gubal Island
Ras Abu Galum’s quiet gardens invite macro lenses and slow fin kicks. Northbound, Gubal Island adds The Barge and Bluff Point, with morays, lionfish and barracuda under persistent current. Night at Bluff Point teems with octopus and shrimp encounters.
Day 7 – Umm Gammar and El Mina
Caves and coral slopes at Umm Gammar precede an easy finale on the El Mina wreck near Hurghada. A final sunset glide back to marina sets up a joyful farewell dinner.
Day 8 – Departure morning
Breakfast and check-out by 10:00 with smooth connections onward.
