14-Day Aegean to Black Sea Superyacht Expedition from Athens

Departing from Athens Marina, this 14-day superyacht charter introduces a rarer side of Mediterranean luxury cruising - one that extends beyond the familiar island circuit and reaches into the Black Sea through a remarkable sequence of Greek, Turkish, Bulgarian, Romanian and Ukrainian ports. Athens provides the ideal point of origin, with its distinguished marina infrastructure, efficient embarkation environment and strong maritime character creating a polished start to a route defined by scale, contrast and discovery.

From reservation through disembarkation, the experience is supported by a 31-member crew dedicated to turning a complex multi-country voyage into an effortless private escape. Guests benefit from attentive hospitality, flexible arrangements and the sense of reassurance that comes with a professional operation managing every detail behind the scenes. This is not simply a route for moving between destinations; it is a carefully composed luxury expedition for travelers who want cultural depth, geographical range and the comfort of a floating private residence capable of delivering both.

About Our Service in the Aegean, Bosphorus and Black Sea Region

Day 1 - Athens to Syros: The yacht departs Athens and heads northeast into the Aegean, beginning the voyage with a scenic introduction to Greek island cruising. Syros offers an elegant first stop, where neoclassical architecture, seafront dining and the welcoming atmosphere of Ermoupoli give the charter an understated yet sophisticated opening chapter.

Day 2 - Syros to Chios: A full cruising day through the central Aegean leads to Chios, an island known for maritime heritage, medieval settlements and a calmer local character. The transition from one Greek island culture to another adds richness to the route while giving guests ample time to enjoy the yacht itself between ports.

Day 3 - Chios to Cesme: A short crossing brings the itinerary into Turkey. Cesme combines marina ease with a historic coastal identity, offering castle views, Turkish cuisine and a pleasant harbor atmosphere. It acts as a graceful bridge between the Greek island world and the more expansive Turkish leg ahead.

Day 4 - Cesme to Istanbul: Cruising north along Turkey’s coast and into the Sea of Marmara introduces a dramatic geographical shift. The approach to Istanbul is one of the voyage’s defining moments, where the meeting of continents is matched by a spectacular urban waterfront that feels grand from every deck of the yacht.

Day 5 - Istanbul: This day allows guests to experience one of the world’s most compelling maritime cities in full. Historic districts, markets, monumental architecture and the Bosphorus shoreline create a day rich in culture and atmosphere. An evening cruise through the illuminated Bosphorus adds rare cinematic beauty, with palaces, bridges and Ottoman silhouettes framing the waterway.

Day 6 - Istanbul to Varna: Passage through the Bosphorus and into the Black Sea marks a major transition in the itinerary. Varna offers a lighter coastal contrast after Istanbul’s intensity, with beaches, parks and promenades creating an inviting stop that eases guests into the Black Sea experience.

Day 7 - Varna to Constanta: Continuing north along the coast, the yacht reaches Constanta, Romania’s most significant port. Evening ashore can include harbor views, local dining and appreciation of the city’s historic maritime role. The day reinforces the expedition character of the charter, moving confidently beyond more conventional yachting paths.

Day 8 - Constanta to Odessa: This northern Black Sea crossing leads to Odessa, a city known for broad boulevards, classical buildings and lively cultural presence. Its distinctive urban personality gives the itinerary another striking shift in tone, demonstrating how varied and layered a long-range yacht charter can be.

Day 9 - Odessa: Guests enjoy time to absorb Odessa more deeply, whether through its architecture, theaters, promenades or simply its atmosphere near the harbor. Returning onboard after exploring ashore highlights one of the great advantages of a private charter - the ability to experience cities in depth while preserving complete comfort, privacy and continuity of service.

Day 10 - Odessa to Sinop: Southbound cruising across the Black Sea leads to Sinop, a quieter and more reflective destination. Historic fortifications, coastal cliffs and a peaceful marina setting create a slower, more intimate stop after the urban scale of Odessa.

Day 11 - Sinop to Trabzon: The route continues east along Turkey’s northern coast. Forested mountain landscapes descending toward the sea give this leg a very different visual identity from the Aegean and Mediterranean sections of the journey. Trabzon adds historic depth and a long-standing trading-port character.

Day 12 - Trabzon to Istanbul: A longer cruising day returns the yacht west across the Black Sea to Istanbul. This repeated arrival feels entirely different from the first, now framed by the knowledge that guests have already ventured deep into an unusual and compelling region few charters cover so comprehensively.

Day 13 - Istanbul to Mykonos: Southbound through the Aegean, the mood shifts once again toward island glamour. Mykonos provides a bright contrast to the Black Sea section, replacing expedition atmosphere with beach clubs, whitewashed lanes and vibrant evening energy.

Day 14 - Mykonos to Athens: The final leg returns to Athens, where a relaxed breakfast onboard precedes disembarkation. The journey closes as one of the most distinctive private yachting itineraries available from Greece - combining islands, imperial waterways, Black Sea ports and cosmopolitan finishes in one seamless luxury experience.

About Our Yacht - Nobiskrug 303ft Luxury Motor Yacht

The Nobiskrug 303ft luxury motor yacht is particularly compelling for an itinerary of this ambition. Her expansive proportions, refined interior architecture and generous deck plan create the sense of a private floating estate capable of supporting both long passages and destination-focused days ashore. Guests can move between elegant lounges, formal dining areas and open-air social spaces with complete ease, while the yacht’s scale ensures a calm, exclusive atmosphere throughout the voyage.

Onboard features including the cinema, wellness spa, fitness facilities, beach club, elevator, helipad, swimming pool and jacuzzi provide flexibility rarely matched at sea. These amenities are especially valuable on expedition-style itineraries where longer cruising days become part of the pleasure rather than a pause between stops.
