About Our Service in the Southern & Central Dodecanese
This 7-day itinerary takes you through the lesser-traveled islands of the Dodecanese, uncovering raw beauty, authentic island culture, and peaceful isolation. From Halki and Karpathos to Kasos and Astypalaia, the route highlights dramatic landscapes and traditional charm. Nisyros and Symi complete the return leg before arriving back in Rhodes.

Day 1: Rhodes – Halki (35 NM)
Sail west from Rhodes to the small island of Halki, where pastel-colored homes circle the tranquil Emporio Harbor. Spend the afternoon swimming at Pondamos Beach or hiking to the island’s historic Clock Tower. The relaxed pace and gentle ambiance of Halki make it a perfect starting point for your weeklong voyage.

Day 2: Halki – Karpathos (35 NM)
Continue south to Karpathos, a rugged island of soaring peaks, wild beaches, and dramatic beauty. Dock at Pigadia, the main port, and venture inland to visit the traditional village of Olympos, known for its preserved customs and scenic cliffside setting. Karpathos promises a unique blend of nature, heritage, and hospitality.

Day 3: Karpathos – Kasos (15 NM)
Short sail to Kasos, one of Greece’s most authentic and untouched islands. Anchor at Fri Port and explore the quiet streets, unspoiled coastline, and charming churches. Take a peaceful walk to Agia Marina or dine in family-run tavernas where island traditions remain strong and uncommercialized.

Day 4: Kasos – Astypalaia (40 NM)
Sail northwest to Astypalaia, an island shaped like a butterfly and often considered the link between the Dodecanese and Cyclades. Anchor in Skala, just beneath the picturesque Chora with its whitewashed houses and Venetian castle. Enjoy the peaceful rhythms of local life in one of Greece’s most romantic settings.

Day 5: Astypalaia – Nisyros (38 NM)
Sail northeast toward Nisyros, returning to this island for a second exploration. This time, anchor at Pali, a quiet fishing village, and relax at the nearby Lies Beach. Nisyros’ volcanic terrain, traditional settlements, and laid-back vibe make it a worthwhile repeat stop along the journey.

Day 6: Nisyros – Symi (32 NM)
Cruise toward Symi, one of the jewels of the Dodecanese. Visit Panormitis Bay for a peaceful morning swim and tour the famous monastery. Later, moor at Gialos Harbor to admire the island’s neoclassical architecture, quaint boutiques, and upscale dining options.

Day 7: Symi – Rhodes (23 NM)
Your final sailing leg takes you back to Rhodes, with a relaxing stop at Anthony Quinn Bay or Ladiko Beach for a final swim in turquoise waters. Return to Marina Rhodes by afternoon and enjoy a celebratory evening in the island’s medieval Old Town, steeped in history and charm.
