Description

Start your Saronic sailing voyage from Lavrion Marina, an easily accessible and well-organized port just outside Athens. A prime base for bareboat charters, it’s the entry point into Greece’s cultural and natural treasures in the Saronic Gulf.

This 7-day itinerary leads you through the enchanting Saronic Islands, where historical landmarks and island charm go hand in hand. From the cliffside ruins of Cape Sounio to the car-free port of Hydra and the noble grace of Spetses, this route promises cultural richness and coastal serenity.

Day 1: Depart from Alimos to Cape Sounio. Anchor under the Temple of Poseidon for a night of starry skies and seafood by the sea.

Day 2: Head to Aegina. Visit the Temple of Aphaia and explore the markets of Perdika or the main port, famous for pistachios and lively promenades.

Day 3: Sail to Agistri, a small, green island with quiet coves and pine forests. Swim at Dragonera Beach and enjoy a laid-back day.

Day 4: Cruise to Poros, dock in the neoclassical harbor, and enjoy hiking, shopping, or watersports before dinner in the marina.

Day 5: Continue to Ermioni for a lunch stop, then onward to Hydra. Discover its stately stone houses and thriving art scene. No cars, just donkeys and breathtaking views.

Day 6: Sail to Porto Heli and Spetses. Explore maritime history at the Bouboulina Museum and relax at hidden beaches accessible only by boat.

Day 7: Return to Alimos Marina after a peaceful morning sail, wrapping up your cultural and scenic Greek island escape.
