Popis

Experience the Pacific and Caribbean character of Central America during a privately arranged 17-day luxury yacht adventure beginning in Puerto San José, Guatemala. The programme combines an introductory passage along Guatemala’s Pacific shore with a professionally coordinated transition to the country’s Caribbean side. From Livingston, the route continues through Belize’s reef-fringed cruising grounds before reaching Utila, Roatán and Guanaja in Honduras’s Bay Islands.

This is not presented as a direct navigable voyage between Guatemala’s two coastlines. There is no practical internal sea connection for a yacht between the Pacific and Caribbean, so a dedicated logistical transfer and repositioning stage is incorporated. The precise method, timing and guest arrangements must be confirmed during planning and remain subject to operational feasibility. This transparent structure creates a realistic regional programme while preserving the comfort and quality expected from an exclusive charter.

About Our 17-Day Guatemala, Belize and Honduras Service

The experience is supported by 27 professional crew members responsible for hospitality, navigation, technical management, dining, housekeeping and guest care. The service can be shaped around individual preferences, with assistance available from the initial enquiry through scheduling, provisioning and final arrangements. Daily movements and activities remain subject to weather, reef navigation, international clearances and the captain’s assessment.

Day 1 - Puerto San José, Guatemala: Leave Puerto San José and enjoy an introductory passage along Guatemala’s Pacific coastline. Settle into the yacht’s spacious accommodation, meet the crew and begin the experience at an unhurried pace while preparations continue for the cross-country logistical phase.

Day 2 - Guatemala Pacific Coast: Follow the Pacific shoreline past beaches, fishing communities and volcanic scenery. The yacht remains within a practical operational area as the team completes the necessary preparations for repositioning. Time aboard may be devoted to relaxation, wellness or outdoor dining.

Day 3 - Guatemala Transit Day: A dedicated logistical day enables movement from the Pacific departure area toward Guatemala’s Caribbean cruising region. Since no suitable navigable connection exists between the two coasts, the transfer requires advance coordination and may involve separate guest and yacht arrangements.

Day 4 - Livingston, Guatemala: Commence the Caribbean chapter around Livingston and the Río Dulce approaches. Mangrove scenery, sheltered waterways and Garifuna cultural influences create an immediate contrast with the Pacific shore. Local exploration and provisioning can be incorporated before departure for Belize.

Day 5 - Placencia, Belize: Cruise north along the Caribbean coast and complete international clearance in Belize. Placencia offers beaches, a relaxed peninsula setting and convenient access to southern cruising grounds. The manageable passage leaves time to explore ashore or enjoy the yacht at anchor.

Day 6 - Southern Belize Coast: Discover sheltered anchorages and coastal waters around southern Belize. The programme may include swimming, tender excursions and beach visits while maintaining a practical position for the following reef passage.

Day 7 - Tobacco Caye and Southern Belize Reefs: Move into Belize’s celebrated Southern Barrier Reef environment. Navigation is conducted conservatively around coral formations and shallow passages. When conditions permit, guests can snorkel, swim and explore by tender before settling near a suitable protected anchorage.

Day 8 - Dangriga, Belize: Continue toward Dangriga and its surrounding coast. This stop introduces the Garifuna cultural heartland and offers a change from consecutive reef anchorages. Guests may explore locally while the crew manages provisioning and operational requirements.

Day 9 - Belize City and Nearby Waters: Approach Belize City carefully through shallow coastal waters. After completing any necessary formalities, use the area as a convenient base for replenishment, shoreside exploration and preparation for the northern cayes.

Day 10 - Ambergris Caye, Belize: Cruise north toward Ambergris Caye and the San Pedro area. Reef scenery, cayes and warm Caribbean waters provide opportunities for swimming and snorkeling, subject to local access and conditions. The yacht then settles in a suitable location ahead of further reef exploration.

Day 11 - Hol Chan and Northern Belize: Spend another day among northern Belize’s reef environments. The itinerary prioritizes careful navigation through shallow passages while allowing time for marine activities. This extended stay ensures guests experience the destination beyond a single brief call.

Day 12 - Utila, Honduras: Make the international offshore passage toward Honduras’s Bay Islands. Sea state, clearance procedures and arrival timing will determine the day’s programme. On reaching Utila, enjoy a relaxed island evening or a short tender excursion if sufficient daylight remains.

Day 13 - Roatán, Honduras: Travel east from Utila to Roatán and select a sheltered bay according to wind and sea conditions. Explore reefs, beaches and coastal communities while the crew coordinates clearance, provisioning and anchorage requirements.

Day 14 - Roatán, Honduras: A full exploration day offers time for swimming, snorkeling and cruising between appropriate bays. Remaining around Roatán reduces unnecessary mileage and allows guests to experience the island’s varied coastline at a more comfortable pace.

Day 15 - Guanaja, Honduras: Continue east to Guanaja, the quietest of the principal Bay Islands. Its forested scenery and secluded coastal waters provide a compelling contrast to busier Roatán. Tender outings, swimming and time ashore may be arranged where conditions permit.

Day 16 - Eastern Bay Islands, Honduras: Enjoy an additional day around Guanaja and nearby waters. The captain can select protected locations for relaxation and marine activities while retaining the flexibility required for Caribbean weather and reef navigation.

Day 17 - Honduras and Voyage Conclusion: Complete the charter within the Honduran Bay Islands. Guests may disembark locally under the confirmed itinerary while the yacht prepares for onward repositioning. Finishing in Honduras avoids introducing an unrealistic return to Guatemala within the available duration.
